MAINTENANCE & CLEANING

Note: Exposing metal bands to water/moisture may damage the finish or wear the finish over time. We strongly recommend regular maintenance of the band and avoiding exposure to situations where the band may come into contact with water/moisture/dirt/oils (i.e. swimming, gym, exercise etc)

Regular Maintenance:

Polish gently with a soft cloth, avoid exposure to water/moisture and refrain from scratching the surface of the band

Cleaning:
(done with caution and only when absolutely necessary)

  1. Turn off your Apple Watch. If charging, remove the Apple Watch from its charger.
  2. Remove bands from either side of your Apple Watch. Click here to see steps on how to do this.
  3. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently rub your watch band to remove dust and dirt from the surface on a regular basis.
  4. Use a soft, bristle brush to get in between the edges of your band particularly in between the links and the connector.
  5. Should you wish to do a more thorough cleaning, mix a few drops of all-natural dish soap with some warm water in a bowl. It’s best to use an all natural cleaning agent to maintain your band’s electroplating coat.
  6. Dampen the soft cloth and blot out any stubborn debris left. Alternatively, you may also use gentle wet wipes to clean your band at this point. Take note to only dampen the cloth and blot out dirt gently, do not let your band get soaked in water.
  7. Dry your watch band thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth. You may use a dryer at this stage to make sure no moisture is left between the links and pins in your watch band.
  8. Store your watch band in a cool, dry place. Take care not to expose your bands to humidity or direct sunlight as this may cause the plating to fade or tarnish excessively.
