What type of metal is this band made of please?

Hey Tracey, The chain links are steel with a colour coating, however the magnet clasp and connectors are made of a necessary alloy in order to work as magnets and connect to the Apple Watch. All alloys are a mix of metals (which can include nickel)

Thanks for your question! If you would like a more specific recommendation feel free to send a picture of your apple watch to info@thesaltyfox.com.au. If your apple watch SE was bought within the last 5 years it would be in the colour way gold which can appear rose gold. If this is the case we would recommend the champagne rose gold Milanese as our closest match, with the second closest match being the vintage rose gold colour way. Hope this helps!

My current watch/band is blue. If I buy a Milanese gold band, does it also include the actual watch square rim cover as well? Is that part of the watch changeable. Or would I end up having a gold band, but still a blue rim around the actual Apple Watch part?

Hi Lisa, Thanks for getting in touch. Please be advised the colour coating on our Milanese gold band extends all over the watch band. You are right, this would mean the part where the connector meets the watch face will have two different colours. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi there, flip your Apple Watch over and look at the fine print on the back, does it say 41mm or 45mm? If you purchased an SE version does it say 40mm or 44mm on the back? If it says 40mm or 41mm on the back of your Apple Watch then you need our 38mm/40mm/41mm size bands. If your Apple Watch says 44mm or 45mm on the back then you need our 42mm/44mm/45mm size bands.
